GURDASPUR, Punjab (April 13, 2015)—Panthik organizations have raised alarm after the police has arrested a number of Sikh youth after the attack on Shiv Sena leader Harvinder Soni yesterday. Local Sikh youth and activists are being fabricated into the case by the police.
In connection with the attack on Harvinder Soni, two more Sikh youth have reportedly been arrested by Punjab Police. These Sikh youth have been identified as Inderpal Singh of Gurdaspur and Surinder Singh resident Wadala Granthian.
SSP Gurpreet Singh Toor claimed that the arrested youth helped Kashmir Singh in attacking the Shiv Sena leader. He claimed that Inderpal Singh showed Kashmir Singh the shop of Soni, where the Shiv Sena leader was targeted later.
