

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—As per sources within Navjot Sidhu led Awaz-e-Punjab (AEP) forum, its Navjot Sidhu has conditioned before the Aam Aadmi Party to first spell out its Chief Minister candidate for the 2017 assembly polls and then propose the agenda for alliance.
Notably, communication between Navjot Sidhu led AEP forum and the AAP leadership had broken after the disagreement over sharing of assembly tickets for assembly polls of Punjab due in 2017.
On the condition of anonymity, a source close to an Awaz-e-Punjab leader said that Navjot Sidhu has told the AAP to first project the CM face for Punjab before offering him the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Sidhu had earlier demand 4 cabinet positions for his associates if the AAP came into power.
Sikh24 has learnt that Navjot Sidhu has asked AAP to share more details about its forthcoming policies for Punjab, specially in relation to how it will deal with debt and drug mafia. Notably, Punjab is second highest debt-ridden state in the Union of India.
Meanwhile, the AAP leaders have said that they will project the CM face at the right time and not when Navjot Sidhu will want.
