PUNJAB, India—Making a U-turn from his confessions made in front of media about the abduction and murders of innocent Sikh youth by Punjab police, former Cat Gurmeet Pinky has now stated in a video interview that he was forced to speak against DGP Saini by the former DGP Sarbdeep Singh Virk and Journalist Kanwar Sandhu.
Blaming the two for mentally torturing him, cat Gurmeet Pinky has even claimed that the script of his interviews was prepared by them.
Commenting on the attack on Journalist Kanwar Sandhu in Patiala jail by Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, Pinky clarified that Kanwar Sandhu was severely injured in the incident. He even claimed that they had to go to a hospital at Fatehgarh Sahib where injuries of Kanwar Sandhu was stitched by doctors.
However on being contacted by Sikh24’s correspondents, former DGP S.S Virk and Journalist Kanwar Sandhu have refuted allegations leveled against them by Pinky. DGP Virk said that Pinky met him after his interviews and he had nothing to do with him prior to that. Virk even asked the CBI to investigate Pinky’s claims.
Journalist Kanwar Sandhu said that revelations of Pinky have been watched by entire world and now he won’t be able to reverse the information under any kind of political pressure.
