LUDHIANA, Punjab—The printing of Gurbani script on an anti-allergic medicine pack by a German based pharmaceutical company has triggered outrage among Sikhs.
Polaramine, an antihistamine to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever, was released in Punjab with the disrespectful use of Gurbani upon it’s packaging.
Chairman of Punjab Medical Council Dr. G.S Grewal has said that the Pharmaceutical Company has disrespected the Gurbani scriptures to inflate the sale of it’s product. He added that the concerned product ought to be banned across the state.
