
LUDHIANA, Punjab—Bandi Singhs Rihai Sangharsh Committee has accepted the Punjab government’s proposal to pursue talks about the release of political Sikh prisoners. The committee will undergo a meeting with representatives of Punjab government in Deputy Commissioner’s office in Ludhiana on December 11.
Annoucing the decision, Bhai Ravinderjeet Singh Gogy (Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s son) said that the representatives of Bandi Singhs Rihai Sangharsh Committee would meet the Government’s representatives tomorrow at 11 am in the office of Deputy Commissioner Sri Rajat Aggarwal. Representatives of the government couldn’t be confirmed.
Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema had also offered to pursue talks with Punjab Government about the release of political Sikh prisoners whilst visiting Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s home in Hassanpur yesterday.
