AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand was produced in the court of Chief Magistrate PS Rai on November 24, following a one day police remand, charged with disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of Sri Darbar Sahib on the eve of Bandi Shorre. The judge sent Jathedar Mand to a judicial jail for 14 days.
It may be recalled that Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand along with his companions, Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala and Satnam Singh Manawa, were indicted in an FIR lodged by the manager of Darbar Sahib, Partap Singh, for creating disruptions within the Darbar Sahib complex.
