KAPURTHALA, Punjab (April 24, 2015)—Justifying their act of thrashing Pathis, Satkar Committee chief Bhai Sukhjit Singh Khosa has stated that he does not feel regret for what the committee did.
He said that with the help of other organizations, Satkar Committee had chalked out the plan to launch a struggle against Police actions and more details around this will be released over time.
He demanded that cases should also be registered against those who violated Maryada and Hukamnamas of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
It is notable that members of Satkat Committee had uploaded a video on social media of thrashing Pathis ‘mercilessly’ for committing disrespect of Guru Granth Sahib and violating edict of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The act draws flak from various sections of society following which Police filed cases against the members of the committee
