CHANDIGARH, Punjab (March 29, 2015)—In the case of mass killings of Sikhs in Haryana village Hond Chillar, Garg Commission has submitted its investigation report to the Haryana Chief Minister.

The commission handed over the report on Friday for the investigations that lasted for two and half years.  This incident took place on Nov 2, 1984, and 31 Sikhs were murdered brutally in daylight.

After Sikhs expressed outrage over the killing and demanded justice, the then Haryana government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda constituted the commission to probe into the case. The commission was asked to submit its report within 6 months.

Talking to media persons, Hond Chillar Talmel Committee president Engineer Malwinder Singh Giaspura and general secretary Bhai Darshan Singh Gholia said the commission kept this report confidentially and it would take some time to be disclosed.
