LUDHIANA, Punjab (March 20, 2015)—Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi (son of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa) has stated that the current struggle will continue until the permanent release of Sikh detainees.  Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh was once again presented in the court by the Police fully handcuffed.  According to the mandates of the Supreme Court of India, it is unlawful to handcuff persons not charged with a crime.

The authorities once again deferred the debate to April 1, 2015.

Talking to Sikh24 correspondent, Bhai Gogi said that he is in Chardi Kala and would continue fighting the struggle initiated by his father for the release of Sikh detainees until it becomes fruitful. He appealed to the entire Sikh Nation to unite on a common platform to ensure the success of the campaign.

Sikh24 was also told by Bhai Gogi’s lawyer that handcuffing a person charged under 107/151 is anomalous.

It is worth mentioning that Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh was arrested on February 26 by Punjab Police and was sent to Ludhiana jail leveling false charges against him.
