NEW DELHI (February 27, 2015)—Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara was presented in a court of Justice Ritish Singh under F.I.R No. 229/05 of Alipur Police Station under tight security of Delhi Police Force. Bhai Hawara is accused under article 120B, 121 and 307 of Indian Penal Code. Bhai Hawara was presented two hours later than the specified time. The court is currently recording the witnesses, but due to absence of a government agent, hearing was postponed until the next session.
Bhai Hawara was cuffed on hands and foots, against the court orders. In addition, police force was carrying loaded weapons, and it is notable that a police inspector entered the court with a loaded a revolver.

Bhai Hawara appealed to the entire Sikh nation to join and support the struggle initiated by Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa. He said that Bapu Ji will fulfill his duties by sacrificing his life, but establishing a public agitation in favor of his struggle is the duty of all the Sikh organizations.
He appealed to Sikh organizations to unite on a common platform to make struggle of Bapu Ji successful. “Though the unfruitful termination of earlier hunger strikes of Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh Khalsa depressed the entire Sikh Nation, but Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa will wash out all such complaints” he added.
